It’s almost Valentine’s Day, what better to drink than a bottle of bubbly? I love Korbel because it’s always in stock and usually under $15 a bottle! America's favorite bottle-fermented champagne, KORBEL Brut is light-tasting and crisp with a 1% dosage for a balanced medium-dry finish.
Excellent With:
Chicken or seafood dishes, also with Asian foods. A wonderful choice with fruit and mild cheese. I love it with fresh Strawberries
Varietal Composition:
Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, French Colombard and Pinot Noir
Other Champagnes to try from them are Korbel Extra Dry
KORBEL Extra Dry is a crisp off-dry champagne that is light, refreshing and very easy to like. Features flavors of citrus, melon and spice.
Excellent With:
Salads with sweet fruit-based dressings. Great with spicy foods, especially Thai or Vietnamese dishes that use cilantro, ginger or chilies.
Varietal Composition:
Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and French Colombard
I gently remove the foil and wire cage over the cork. I put a towel over the cork and gently wiggle until it comes off and you hear a *sigh*. You don’t want it to pop off across the room, you lose bubble and champagne when that happens.. Not recommended.
